Even after school’s out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating childcare environment. Our Before/Aftercare Academy program allows kindergarten through fifth grade students to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help, physical activities, dance, chorus, art and our STEM program are designed so that everyone goes home happy.
Scholars begin to arrive at 6:30am to 7:45am. During this time students will receive a continental breakfast. They also receive homework assistance during this time.
Once students are dismissed to aftercare they begin a cycle of rotations that include: homework assistance, physical activities, coding (STEM), Dance, chorus and art. Students receive an afternoon snack during this time as well. Students also participate in other activities such as, pizza parties, video parties, etc..
The Andrew Simpkins Innovation Foundation runs STEAM Scholars after school technology program which focuses on coding and robotics for grades Pre-K thru 8th grade. They provide field trips, project days and Family nights for their participants. This program cost $15 a week and meets weekly.
